An Antique French & Indian War - American Revolutionary War Period British Military / Militia Contract Heavy Dragoon Variant Pattern Flintlock Holster Pistol by; J WATKIN, LONDON, c. 1730-1740. 12", .65 cal. (carbine bore) round steel barrel with (2) London private proofs and a "CROWN over F", (foreigners mark). Brass furniture. 18.5" overall length. A very scarce pistol in good working order.
