California Health Education Skill Posters for High School NEW 2021 Health education skill development is at the core of effective school health education. These posters are tools for teachers to use to break down each skill for students. They provide graphic guidance in the form of steps and skill’s cues.  They are colorful, easy-to-read, and designed to be posted in a classroom so that students can access them during their work with skills. The posters are California specific. That means that they directly correlate with the National Health Education Standards (NHES), but have titles that are unique to California. Seven of the standards are skill standards and one is concepts. The communications standard has two posters, Interpersonal Communications and Refusal Options because the steps and cues for the refusals sub-skill are unique.
