Indication: CARBOTOUX® PROMETHAZINE Syrup is used for symptomatic treatment of troublesome, nonproductive cough, in particular, if it predominantly occurs at night. Ingredient: Carbocisteine…………………………. 100mg Promethazine hydrochloride …….…… 2.5mg Excipients: q.s.f ………………………………. 5ml Direction: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE Dosage: Amebiasis: Child: 1.2 to 1.6 ml/kg/day (or 30 to 40 mg/kg/day), divided into 3 doses. Duration of treatment: for 7 to 10 days (in general). Lambliasis: Child: from 2 to 5 years old: 10 ml/day (or 250 mg/day). Child: from 5 to 10 years old: 15 ml/day (or 375 mg/day). Child: from 10 to 15 years old: 20 ml/day (or 500 mg/day).The daily dose should be divided into 2 doses.Duration of treatment: for 5 to 7 days (in general).
