LIPIGET 20MG (BOX/1x10Tab)

Indication: Lipiget containing atorvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA. This blocks the enzymes required for the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver. The drugs that lower HMG-coA levels in the body are called statins. Lipiget dosage: Lipiget is a prescription drug and the exact dosage varies as per your lipid levels and the severity of the cardiovascular disease The usual Lipiget dosage is; 10 mg or 20mg once a day as a  starting dose. The dose is increased periodically if required. For sudden reduction of cholesterol, Lipiget dosage is; 40mg once daily Side effects: Some of the common side effects reported with the use of Lipiget for an extended period of time include; Constipation or diarrhea Dyspepsia or indigestion Flatulence or bloating Dizziness and fatigue Skin issues like rash and itching Sleeping disturbances like Insomnia Urinary tract infections Severe Myalgia  Consult a cardiologist for a prescription for a Lipiget tablet.
