Indication: POLYPTOL® Infant Syrup is used for symptomatic treatment of dry cough, in particular related to allergic and irritative condition. Ingredient: Chlorphenamine maleate​ ……… 0.5mg Sodium benzoate ……………….. 25mg Excipients: q.s.f …………………… 5ml Direction: Child under 1 year old: 2.5 ml, 2 to 3 times per day. Child from 1 to 2 years old: 5 ml, 2 to 3 times per day. Child from 2 to 3 years old: 5 ml, 4 times per day. Mode of administration: Oral route. *** The symptomatic treatment must be brief (a few days). Side effects: Dryness of the mouth, nausea, vomiting.Inform your doctor or your pharmacist about any undesirable effect which is not mentioned in this leaflet.
