Dosage: The dosage is varied depending on the disease being treated, the severity of the affection, the response of the patient and the tolerance to the treatment. Child:    Initial dose: 0.5 to 2 mg/kg/day. Maintenance dose: 0.25 to 0.5 mg/kg/day. Adult: Initial dose: 0.35 to 1.2 mg/kg/day. Maintenance dose: 5 to 15 mg/day. Mode of administration: Oral route.
