WE BEGIN is the debut release of Philly-based progressive metal/post-hardcore band JAELYN. I (me, Mattie) play bass in this band, but WE BEGIN was released before I joined up, as a solo project by singer Jaelyn Robinson. WE BEGIN is the first installment of a sci-fi space opera as told through seven metal/prog/post-punk/post-hardcore songs:  In the distant future Earth is long dead, ruined by greed, power-hungry monsters and war.
