You vs You – Original Painting by Tracy Guiteau You vs You is a mirror in color, a conversation between the person you were and the person you’re becoming. When I painted this piece, I was reflecting on how growth doesn’t always come from outside challenges; most of the time, it’s an internal battle. The fight to trust yourself. The choice to bloom even when you’re tired. The courage to silence the noise and listen to your own heartbeat. Every layer in this painting holds meaning: the tropical leaves represent life’s constant growth, the open chest symbolizes vulnerability, and the flower blossoming  reminds us that self-love takes root in truth. I wanted the viewer to feel both power and softness. A sense of surrender to divine timing. Hidden throughout the piece are words that speak to the soul. This artwork is a visual meditation, a reminder that the only competition that matters is between who you were yesterday and who you’re meant to become.
