This Vegaphone Professional features the very desirable "Tu-ba-phone" tone ring that is well suited to many different styles of music. This banjo is in very good overall condition, more details in the "Notes" below. This banjo is currently setup in CGDA tuning but can put setup in GDAE tuning on the buyer's request. Neck - maple with ebony center strip, two-tone finish, ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays, "pearwood" peghead veneer with Vega mother of pearl inlays, vintage and desirable "Planet" geared tuners Rim - laminated maple rim with Tu-ba-phone tone ring, tortoise celluloid binding, painted rim cap, 28 flanges, maple "pie plate" resonator. Setup - CGDA Case - original Vega case Notes - the nickel plating on the metal parts look new, some buckle rash on the back of the resonator, armrest is bent, position dots on siding binding look to be made with a marker (might be removable), repaired damage to side of resonator and patched binding.
