This is a Style R built by the Vega Company in Boston, Mass in the 1920's and features the desireable Whyte Laydie tone ring. Neck - maple with dark center strip, ebony fingerboard, dyed peghead veneer with Vega engraved in a mother of pearl star inlay. Rim - laminated maple with Whyte Laydie tone ring, 28 Vega flanges, tortoise celluloid binding, black painted rim cap, maple "pie plate" resonator. Setup - GDAE tuning for Irish trad Case - no case included Notes - this is a very nice Style R ready for the sessions. There is minimal fret wear, some finish wear on the back of the neck, the nickel plating is very good with some wear to the armrest.
