Weymann Orchestra Style 2
This Weymann Orchestra Style 2 features the "Megaphonic" rim and pop-off resonator. This was built by Weymann in Philadelphia in the 1920's. This particular banjo has lived a well used life, see "Notes" below for condition details. The Orchestra models are great, versatile banjos for Irish trad playing. The finish looks to be original with the probability of some added finish to the resonator. Neck - birds eye maple with 5 piece center lamination, ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays and white/black/white binding, "pearwood" peghead veneer with mother of pearl inlays, multi-colored fingerboard and peghead underlays, original Weymann 4:1 recessed geared tuners Rim - maple "Megaphonic" rim with rosewood binding and ebony rim caps, Weymann neck brace and action adjuster.
