TDU Half Trend

1. Overview The Half Trend indicator looks a bit like the supertrend, but actually is very different. Internally it uses an ATR band and a moving average to determine the trend and give you clear buy/sell signals. 2. Settings The Half trend indicator just has a few settings   Amplitude:  The Amplitude specifies the number of bars which the indicator uses to calculate whether the trend is up or down   ATR Multiplier & ATR Period The ATR multiplier defines the width of the ATR bands. The ATR Period specifies the number of bars used to calculate the ATR 3. Alerts The indicator can give alerts when a buy or sell signal occurs. Simply enable the alerts and choose a sound file to receive these alerts  4. Bloodhound support Besides the ATR band and midline the indicator exposes the following plots which you can use in your own strategies or bloodhound/blackbird Trend plot The trend plot specifies the trend. 1=up, -1 = down Signal plot The signal plot specifies the buy or sell signals
