The Vortex Composite Pedal

When we set out to design a flat pedal, there were a few key features that we NEEDED! Replaceable pins, sealed bearings, chromoly spindles, symmetrical pedal body, channels to help shed mud, and a slight concave design that holds the foot in place while placing the pins in just right spots to evenly distribute the pin pressure onto your shoes. All this in only 180g per pedal. Coming with one free rebuild kit per year + a lifetime warranty. The mission was to craft a set of pedals that hit all the little performance details along with top-tier serviceability & durability. Two main features we wanted to focus on was having the thinnest overall pedal body while retaining a flat pedal body with a concave pin design. The flat pedal body and concave pin design paired with having a symmetrical pedal body allow the foot to sit into the pedal with even pressure. The symmetrical pedal body is key so the leading and trailing edge of the pedal is an even distance from the pedal spindle. This
