Trailsmith Belt Made from 13-15oz oak bark tanned bridle leather from J&F Baker's centuries-old Devon tannery. Each hide undergoes fifteen months of traditional tanning and finishing, creating the finest belt leather in the world. It breaks-in beautifully and develops a patina that tells your story. Saddle-stitched by hand with linen thread. The edges are sanded and burnished through three (or more) grits of sandpaper, then creased and waxed to seal and protect. The stitched-in keeper uses a traditional bridle-work technique. Paired with a solid brass West End buckle cast at an English foundry. Made to your measurements: To measure: take a belt you wear regularly, lay it flat, and measure from where the tine touches the buckle bar to the hole you currently use.
