Dimensions:  5.35 x 5.45 Clarity: SI Origin:  Umba Valley, Tanzania Treatments:  None Comments: This turns out to have been the CLEANEST extra deep purple chrome kornerupine I have ever cut!The gem shows green, blueberry blue, and candy-grape colors on a deep purple/black background, often all at the same time, but in various combinations of 2 colors as well.This gem is special for it's rarity, AND color, AND clarity.It's a real holy-grail example of this unicorn stone.It's a cool half carat, but as it is a triangle, it faces up like a larger stone. It'd make for a great ring OR necklace.
