NORTH COUNTRY WINTER Eau de Parfum ~ Tobacco Cedar Patchouli Oak Vanilla Bayberry Ambrette Orris

North Country Winter... this is a gorgeous warm blend that blooms on the skin over time, deepening and becoming even richer and more velvety as it dries down.  I really can't get enough of this one. I built it around a proprietary accord I created from a quartet of ambrette-based musks and a dry, woody amber with heart notes of white woods and orris.  Bayberry brings a warm spiced note, while a rich, sexy and faintly smoky vanilla accord softens the edges.  Sweet pipe tobacco is very prominent here, but not at the expense of the other notes.   I created this scent around the notion of sitting with a favorite book near a large stone fireplace filled with roaring logs on a clear winter's night, wisps of sweet pipe tobacco smoke floating on the air. I would say this is unisex.
