Era love ring designed by Donald Claflin for Tiffany & Co. Very nice iconic piece from the 1970's. It was crafted in .925/.999 solid sterling silver with the letters of the words LOVE distributed on each side. Have a total weight of 14.9 grams and the actual size is 7.25, cannot be sized. the width measure is 13 mm. Stamped, with the assay hallmarks and signed, "T & CO. .925". In 2015, Tiffany design director, Francesca Amfitheatrof used the iconic Tiffany Blue Book for capsule collection inspiration, choosing 18-karat gold pieces from the early 1970s, including a trio of sculptural rings and bold bracelets. The limited edition “out of retirement” collection features 18 pieces of each one, eight jewelry designs and 10 gift items. each item was based on a design from the Tiffany & Co Archives. Donald Claflin (1935-1979) was an American jewelry designer most associated with the colorful and whimsical designs he created for tiffany & co. during the sixties and seventies. H
