This beautiful Wonderstone also called Volcanic Rhyolite Wonderstone from NV we had won at an auction from estate of one of our gem club members.  Such a beautiful stone.  Wonderstone from Nevada is a volcanic rock that's sometimes called a rhyolite. It's made of volcanic glass particles that are welded together by heat and compacted by pressure. The rock's colorful banding is caused by groundwater circulating through it.  More pieces to come.
