RUTHIE - Girls Stretch Ruffle Shorts Sewing Pattern

Comfortable to wear and stylish to look at, these stretch shorts should be a staple in every young girl's wardrobe. Perfect for dance, fun and play.  My instructions are aimed at beginners with a regular sewing machine and use a simple zig-zag stitch. SIZE RANGE: This sewing pattern is multi-sized and comes in sizes girls 2 to 10 OR tween 8 to 14. Select your size category from the menu. FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: FABRICS: VIEW A - This pattern is suitable for light to medium weight, washable interlock and jersey knit fabrics with at least 25% stretch.  VIEW B – This pattern uses 2 way stretch fabric with at least 75% stretch in both directions.   Top pictured is from the Sophia top sewing pattern
