The bristles have microscopic "holes" so that anything from water to heavy paint is carried consistently through your stroke. All of our synthetic brushes are heat-treated which means they are able to be heated back into their original shape regardless of abuse (place bristle into simmering water to around 120* and stir). Each brush features a Japanese blend of filament sizes and up to five tapered shapes, delivering a beautifully balanced touch that responds effortlessly to an artist’s hand—from the finest detail to the boldest stroke. With medium-to-long bristles that form into a chisel-esque end, a flat brush is made to be maneuverable over large surface areas.
