This pesto typically showcases the blending of the traditional Calabrian peper with fresh ricotta cheese and almond.  This traditionally spicy pesto is getting a sweet farm twist. We are highlighting our slow food ark of taste sweeet red jimmy nardello peppers. Our Pesto Calabrese "Dolci" is made with roasted sweet and smoky Jimmy Nardello heirloom peppers blended with toasted Sicilian almonds,  local ricotta cheese and farm oregano. Spread it thick on a bruschetta, twist ribbons of noodles through it, pizza, or even top fresh roasted meat or veggies.
