Albert Scharning Norway Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel XL Modernist Brooch Circa 1930-40's         Measurements: 2.75"L x 1.5"W x .25"Thick (6.99cm x 3.81cm x .64cm) Markings: A Sch Norway Sterling 925S Weight: 7.7g Elegant and timeless, designed in a lovely modernist foliage pattern. The light brown/deep chartreuse almost enamel is fully intact, glossy and bright with no damage at all. The gilding is equally glossy and bright. It literally looks almost new! Included with purchase is a converter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred Mannequin is a life-size torso representation Albert Scharning - Established company in 1900, largely as an agency representing traditional Norwegian jewellery, In 1950 his son Per Scharning took over and started a separate workshop, growing the production of silver and enamel jewellery. Closed 1980.
