Presto ma non troppo Then Prithee Aminta, Consent and be Kind Arranged in the 1950s, the music for this Suite comes from Orpheus Britannicus, a collection of Purcell's songs published in 1698, three years after his death. The four movements of the Suite keep very closely to the vocal line and figured bass of the original vocal lines.
