Incident Management Handbook

Introducing our new fully revised Incident Management Handbook.  A revised overall look with updated content based on best practices.   The Response Group’s (TRG) Incident Management Handbook (IMH) is based on government and industry incident command best practices. It was developed to assist first responders and incident management personnel in the use of the Incident Command System (ICS) during response operations and planned events.   The Incident Management Handbook is an easy reference job aid for responders. It is not a policy document, but rather guidance for response personnel.  The current version of the Handbook was created to exemplify widely accepted and practiced response management concepts which can be readily applied to a range of response situations and organizational emergency management structures. This user friendly handbook is organized in a logical sequence from the initial response to managing ongoing incidents. The content is broken down into logical sections.
