After, the female will deposit the eggs over the stone with the male following closely behind and fertilizing them. They will typically fertilize around 200 eggs. Hatching takes place in four days. The care of eggs and fry is shared by both parents. Feed fry brineshrimp, nauplii, microworm, and small fry food. Gender: Males have a slightly more elongated dorsal fin.
