Dato's Wine Tsolikouri Amber

Tasting Note: A month of skin contact gives this amber wine plenty of bite, tannin and power, and there's the fruit intensity to back it all up.  Dark copper in color, super aromatic, this is an exotic wine full of musk, spice and tropical fruit. It's clean and potent and for skin-contact fans it should be love at first sight. Varietal: 100% Tsolikouri   ABV: 12% About: You can find Dato Kobidze in Ereketi in the western region of Guria, close to the Black Sea, probably on his historic family vineyard.  His metier is tiny production made from rare grapes such as Chkhaveri and Aladusturi, made in the old ways that almost disappeared under Soviet occupation.
