
Dough Sauvignon Blanc North Coast
Aromas: Nice floral aromatics centering on jasmine and lemongrass. Layers of lime zest & gooseberry. Flavors: Ripe green melon and grapefruit. Round, lush mid-palate. Bright acid on the finish. Pairings: Try it with toasted crostini smeared with wild-caught smoked salmon & lemon-dill dip, or sustainably caught shrimp tacos. Stainless steel fermentation & aging. Unoaked. No malolactic fermentation. The North Coast AVA encompasses six Northern California winegrowing counties—including Napa and Mendocino—each defined by cooling wind and fog influence from the Pacific Ocean. ABV: 14.5% Dough is the first ever wine collaboration for the James Beard Foundation, and leading our winemaking is Heidi Bridenhagen, who has received over 200 90-point scores at MacRostie Winery. Heidi crafted the wines in concert with a diverse group of chefs and beverage professionals, all alumni of the Foundation’s Impact Programs, to create the most food-friendly wines possible. Dough is the foundation of bread, signifying new beginnings. Like making bread, thoughtful nurturing creates positive change that rises from the simplest of actions.
