9" Arabian Stallion, Chestnut - BHR SR - VARIATION?

This Arabian stallion is done in unpainted brown plastic with hand-painted socks, denoting the 1986 Black Horse Ranch run.  (A separate run by Paola had masked socks.)  Only 500 were made. This fellow is in Excellent condition with a pretty clean left side.  His right side has a lot of dull areas in his finish.  He has a couple of rubs on his hooves.  Unlike the model shown in Gail Fitch's reference book, this fellow has three socks.  We're not sure how many were made with three socks in this configuration.    Size:  9" Series Breyer Model #278
