Proud Arabian Mare Gift Set, Bay - 2-Sock Variation!

The Proud Arabian Mare Gift Set was a special set only produced for two years in 1972 & 1973.  The set included the mare and a hand-braided Arabian-type halter with tassels and lead line.  She originally came in a cardboard carrying box with an included sheet describing the Arabian horse breed.  They are nearly impossible to find these days with their halters, since the halters were easily lost or damaged. What a find!  This lovely lady is Near Mint condition with only a few pinpoint rubs and moderate age yellowing.  Sunbathe her for a week or so to brighten those socks back up and she'll be even prettier!  She features a matte finish body but semigloss legs, mane and tail.  Her tail dock has a hand-painted edge and her mane appears hand-painted as well, instead of airbrushed.  Her black stockings are extensive, and somewhat messily painted, and she's an unusual variation with only hind socks, which have sharply applied Witez II (Proud Arabian Stallion) stenciling at the sock edges
