One of the equine stars of the Western series  "Bonanza," Cochise was the mount of Little Jo Cartwright, the youngest son of Ben, who owns the Ponderosa Ranch.  "Bonanza" was NBC's longest-running Western, running for fourteen years.   [Original cast of Bonanza with their horses - 1959; photo credit: Wikipedia]   Breyer chose the spirited Ranch Horse mold to represent Cochise.  Little Jo was played by actor Michael Landon, and actually over a dozen different horses played Cochise during the series, mainly because of the need for specially trained horses for different types of scenes.  Cochise's portrait model was only available in 2009-2010.   This fellow is Near Mint with no rubs seen.  He shows mild age yellowing, which you can reverse with a few days of sunbathing and has a few dusty looking specks that should clean off with a nice bath.  He features crisp masking, neatly painted silver shoes, and soft muzzle pinking.     Size:  Traditional Breyer Model #1448
