“Stonewall” is derived from the Stonewall Inn which is a gay bar and recreational tavern in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, New York City, and the site of the Stonewall riots of 1969.  It is widely considered to be the single most important event leading to the gay liberation movement and the modern fight for LGBT rights in the United States.  You best believe we wanted to create a simple design that said the most with this one.  Those who know the history will automatically recognize the meaning, and for those that don’t, it can be an opportunity for education!  The colors of the rainbow on the Triple Nikel Streetwear Stonewall Unisex graphic tee are proudly on display to showcase our love for humanity above all else.  We hope that you will wear this shirt with pride, and understand that if you are not a part of the LGBTQ community you can at least be an Ally.  An Ally is a term of endearment that refers to people who support the normalization of the LGBTQ lifes
