Upsa Daisy III – Wool Applique

Upsa Daisy III is one of three 6" x 10" wool hangings which can be created alone or as part of a Triptych.  The petals make a perfect area in which to play around with an assortment of your favorite embroidery stitches.  The pattern provides a template for the center circle but I stitched colonial knots with silk ribbon to create the slight mound in the flower center.
