Cherry Tree 'Stella'

The Prunus Avium 'Stella' - 'Stella' Cherry tree is a self-pollinating, semi-dwarf variety, meaning that unlike most other cherry trees, you don't need another variety to cross-pollinate in order to be bear fruit. In early spring, small clusters of showy white blossoms appear on bare branches that are later followed by fruit and then foliage. Produces abundant yields of heart-shaped fruit, which is firm, plump, and bold-red with a sweet, juicy taste that ripen in June and small four-inch green leaves. These leaves later turn an array of yellow and red shades before falling off for the winter and going into dormancy. Full sun to partial sun. Attracts birds, bees and butterflies.
