Hosta 'Fire & Ice'
The Fire & Ice Hosta is a reverse sport of the Patriot Hosta, with the center varying from a creamy-ivory to pure white in color, adorned with irregular dark green margins. Growing in an upright, clumping, compact mound of lightly twisted, satin-like, wide oval leaves their variegation is sure to make a pop in any garden bed or pot. Has the ability to flower in mid to late summer, fragrant clusters of lavender flower buds that emerge horizontally on short flower stems from the clusters. These herbaceous perennials die back in the winter months and reemerges every year during early spring. Commonly used in borders, containers, rock gardens and edging.
