Diospyros Kaki - Fuyu Persimmon produces sweet medium sized fruits that tastes similar to honey with a hint of mango. Fuyu Persimmons are non-astringent, meaning they can be eaten fresh right off the tree. Fuyu's boast dark green leaves in the spring that change to orange and yellow in the fall. It is a fast maturing tree and starts producing when it reaches ages 3-4 years. Full sun to partial sun. Attracts bees and butterflies.
