The Salix babylonica - Weeping Willow is a large, graceful form, known for its crown of wispy, long-sweeping branches, and slender, finely toothed leaves. Its yellow twigs and green foliage are often one of the first indications of spring. Its graceful habit is effective as a specimen at the edges of ponds and lakes or any low spot in the landscape that retains water. It works well on slopes to prevent erosion.
