Dorica Floor Lamp

Reminiscent of humanity's oldest Greek columns, Dórica is a symbol of strength. A delicate handmade ribbon shade is offset by a sturdy bronze cylindrical base. The lamp stem is topped by a natural leather grip for a rustic feel. An optional, wider stabilizing base is also available for use in busy areas. Jordi Miralbell and Mariona Raventós were a pair of design artisans who, amongst others, they were editors and partners at Santa & Cole. The poetic shapes of their lamps, crafted in materials such as parchment, raffia, or cotton, offer different ways of lighting that reflect the essence of the creative duo: Design is the art of transforming the utilitarian into an object of desire, made with human warmth.
