Yoshiro Ishii Description Born in Yokohama and now based in Tokyo, Yoshiro Ishii started shooting video as a film student but later shifted his focus to photography. While his earlier images feature the city’s celebrated architecture, over time he developed a fascination for the people who live there and their unique stories. Tokyo and its residents continue to inspire Yoshiro and drive him to capture their collectively unique spirit, where modern living merges with tradition and order.
