Winemaker’s note: “To put “Bombisch” on the palate is to put an easy wine with a very high degree of drinkability, on the fruity and salty side as we like them.” Another true BOMB from Alsace! Grapes: 60% Gewurztraminer, 30% Pinot Gris, 10% Riesling Vineyard: Old Vines planted across 7 limestone hillsides around Alsace, farmed biodynamically or in conversion by Christian’s longtime friends, Laurent, Fabien, Raphael, and Pierre. Making of: grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard. They undergo 6 months of maceration in 2022, and another 8 days in 2023. Lightly filtered, and aged in wooden vats.
