Reflections

This piece is about the interplay between emotions and feelings that are mirrored in my visual narrative.  It captures a temporal reflection, frozen in a moment that becomes a timeless exploration of self and surroundings. It is an original painting created with beeswax, oil paints, and damar resin on a cradled board. Embellished with burned silk, pigment sticks, and pan pastels creating a nuanced interplay of light and darkness which conveys a layered and contemplative experience.
