Seal's Delight Pin

Designed by Charles Linak of Zealandia Hand carved ancient mammoth ivory, paua shell, and sterling silver1.625" wide by 1.375" high (approximately) This pin features a diving seal, hand carved from fossilized mammoth tusk ivory, with a pearlescent paua shell background, and set in sterling silver. Note: Zealandia jewelry is made from ancient fossilized walrus and mammoth ivory, from animals that died between 500 and 15,000 years ago. Their ivory was buried in the earth or in permafrost for centuries, during which time it acquired its unique coloring.
