For only three trumpets, it sounds very full. I love Theme and Variations and this one worked very well. The counter melody at the beginning was just one of those lucky moments and the Chorale in the middle just seemed natural for this piece.I hope you like it and buy it! The ending can be performed in two ways. You can do the fade or a shorter ending has been indicated.Each performer has a chance at the melody at some time in the number.
