Ebony pearl (pipe)

This 4.75 inch pipe is made of an ebony bowl, with a mother of pearl inlay, connected to a coyote bone stem and a tropical hardwood mouthpiece. The rich dark brown of the pipe bowl shows a beautiful contrast with the small sparkling button inlay of mother of pearl, and on the other side the soft white of the coyote bone. I like to bring out the natural beauty of the materials I use in a way that fuses the various media and allows for a functional finished piece of art. I let the material speak to me.
