Persepolis (Cigarette Holder)

This 4 inch cigarette holder is based on the the structural columns of ancient architecture. It is made from a section of wood burl, giving it a gorgeous combination of grain patterns, connected to an antler mouthpiece. Coated with a thin protective layer of beeswax. I like to bring out the natural beauty of the materials I use in a way that fuses the various media and allows for a functional finished piece of art. I let the material speak to me.
