A new, selectively bred form of Acaricthys heckelii, the Albino Threadfin Acara or Threadfin Eartheater is a vibrantly colored variant, displaying red eyes and a deep red-orange body which increases with age, especially on males. A hardy and relatively peaceful South American cichlid, they will mix well with other eartheaters or medium- to large-sized peaceful cichlids. Sizes and colors may vary.
