L333 Yellow King Tiger Pleco

The L333 Yellow King Tiger Pleco (Hypancistrus sp.) is found in the swift flowing, high oxygenated, soft waters of the Rio Xingu. The ones available for purchase are our F1 (first generation) juveniles from our group of wild caught adults. We are proud to be able to offer captive bred fish in the hopes of helping conservation efforts of the species. Like all plecos they should be provided with adequate hiding places (like Pleco Ceramics Caves and Decor). They may also benefit from driftwood, cholla wood and catappa Indian almond leaves. sizes and colors will vary Ph: 6.4-7.2 Temp: 78-85F Minimum tank size: 20g Long Peaceful but can be territorial. Average purchase size: 1.5” Max size: 5-6” Diet: should be fed a varied diet consisting of both plant and meat based foods. Ours are fed Black and Tan Sticks, Blackworm Buckshot Pellets, Eat Your Greens Pellets, Green Dream Wafers, Repashy Soilent Green, Repashy Bottom Scratcher and fresh vegetables like cucumber and zucchini.  FOR ALL ORDERS
