NEW! 9" Moke: Amaebi

  The Amaebi was born from an ah ha moment of inspiration! I had a couple of these painted heads laying around for awhile. One day the guys from the commercial FV Musubi came by to talk story and grab a few lures. We ended up talking about a color that looked like a Amaebi. It had clear over creamsicle skirts.My question was why do you need that top skirt, why not just run Creamsicle as the outer skirt. That’s when my friend said “nah the outer skirt turns a little blue in the water”.  In that moment the light switch clicked!   My friend Josh traps Amaebi and one evening we were eating fresh raw shrimp down at the docks. The juices from the shrimp that dripped into the water as I suck the good stuff out of its head would be a bio luminescent blue! I pulled this skirt combo off the rack, gave it to the Musubi guys along with the head and the rest is history.
