Rug Tufting Workshop

Want to learn how to use the tufting gun to create amazing textile art? Then Join us for an in-person tufting workshop at our Tuftology studio in Alexandria VA.  This hands-on class is designed for beginners and will introduce you to the basics of operating a tufting gun. After a brief instructional session, the majority of the workshop will be dedicated to tracing your design onto the tufting fabric and bringing it to life with tufting. You’ll work on a 12 x 12-inch piece, using a frame that accommodates this size. Participants will be using a cut pile tufting machines. Yarn, fabric, and glue are included in the cost of the workshop.
