Teddy Roosevelt once said, ‘The wildlife and its habitat cannot speak—so we must, and we will.’ In those words, a call: to speak for the voiceless, to guard what cannot guard itself. We often forget, but we are not separate from this wild earth—we are of it. Without it, there are no people. No song. No breath. No us.
