Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that’s used to treat skin concerns via collagen production. Also known as collagen induction therapy, this treatment may help those looking to reduce the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks. This treatment typically requires no sun exposure for a week prior to the treatment and a week after. Generally you will experience redness and subtle inflammation for 1-3 days after the procedure, and minimal flaking of the skin for about a week after the procedure.
